We were very excited to return to the Galápagos Islands. Our first trip here was in 2014 and we traveled during the month of February, known for its encounters with manta rays. Our intention this time was to explore the islands during whale shark season, understanding that the currents may be stronger and the visibility may be impeded by the increase of krill in the water. The incredible team at Fly and Sea Dive Adventures ensured every "i" was dotted and "t" crossed (especially with the ever-changing Covid-19 protocols) to help us host this most memorable adventure to the birthplace of the theory of evolution. Dean and I were joined by 12 advanced and adventurous spirits, plus one "stow-away", to take on this challenging diving. The Galápagos Islands did not disappoint. Many, many thanks to the outstanding crew aboard the MV Humboldt Explorer. You are among the best we have encountered anywhere in the world.
